Arsen Avakov: The government resumed pedestrian and car traffic at the checkpoints Dolsk and Vilcha

Due to the weakening of quarantine measures, the government is opening for Ukrainian citizens two more checkpoints on the border of Ukraine with Belarus: in the Kyiv region – “Vilcha”, and in the Volyn region – “Dolsk”.  Such a decision was made today, on June 17, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Minister of Internal Affairs initiated amendments to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 288-r dated March 13, 2020, “On the temporary closure of certain checkpoints at the state border and the termination of pedestrian traffic in them”.

“In connection with the gradual weakening of quarantine measures, the Ministry of Internal Affairs proposes to resume pedestrian traffic for citizens of Ukraine and the movement of motor vehicles at the state border checkpoints “Dolsk” and “Vilcha””, – informed Arsen Avakov.

The Сabinet unanimously supported the initiative.
